Saint Rose of Lima

A 14,000 ft2 multi-purpose family life center and school expansion was desired by the building committee. There were some who wanted a basketball facility, and others who wanted a distinctly "non sports" facility. Prince/Alexander provided the solution by creating a large format floor tile pattern that created a feeling of celebration and games, but allowed for sports activities as well. 4 Classrooms on separate HVAC controls were also added. A new lobby was attached on the end of the existing building, which allowed for a slight turn in the linear layout of the building. A new enclosed ADA lift for wheelchair accessibility is located at the top of the stairs. This project was completed in 11 months at a cost of $1.2 million.
