The existing Milford Library did not contain any room for a director's office or staff work areas. We designed an addition that seamlessly expands the beautiful historic Carnegie building and makes an interior feature of the former exterior wall. With adding around 3,000 ft2 at a cost of $460,000, the library now has the room it has needed for some time. Construction was completed in August 1997. HVAC and electrical upgrades were done throughout, and the existing building was made to be ADA compliant.
