This new community center and fitness facility includes a multi-purpose gymnasium, walking track, exercise/tumbling room, weight/fitness room, department offices, classrooms and other support spaces. The 26,000 ft2 building cost $1.6 million and is located next to the 18-hole municipal golf course, which is adjacent to Mulligan Park. The use of leisure activities by the people of Crawfordsville and surrounding communities has risen due to the opening of the new facility in February of 2000. The building not only consolidated the parks functions, but also the seniors as well.
