The Vermillion County Courthouse renovations were phased over a 5 year period. The first phase included a new HVAC system, new windows, new roof system and a new elevator. With the new HVAC being energy efficient, the county received rebates from the utility company. The second and third phases included ADA modifications, electrical upgrades and painting. The three phases were bid as trade packages, which allowed for local participation. This project cost was approximately $550,000.
