At $48.00 per square foot, this building has to be one of the least expensive fire station/town hall/police station/community centers built in Indiana. For years, the Town of Veedersburg, had been occupying severely inadequate spaces throughout the town. Most meetings had to be held at the Lions Club because there were no other spaces available for people to congregate. We designed a very usable pre-engineered metal building to keep the building cost low. By design, we then were able to facilitate the police department dispatch and community rooms for meetings and gatherings. The total project cost was $540,000. The overwhelming success of the project has helped spur additional economic development in Veedersburg.
